The 2009-10 Marching Band show will be Jesus Christ, Superstar! This is not your typical show and we are very excited to bring this rock opera to Mukwonago.

Course Description Marching Band registration is part of summer school registration. Members of the Marching Band will receive training and application experiences in concert band performance techniques, pep band performance techniques, parade marching techniques, and field show marching techniques.
Marching Band members are required to attend sectionals, memorize drill, and music, and participate in all rehearsals, parades, field shows, and home football games. Students are also required to purchase a lyre, shoes, and gloves. In addition, they are required to keep their instruments in top working condition and are responsible for music, drill charts, and uniform cleaning which goes beyond normal wear and tear.
A typical season for Marching Band includes, but is not limited to the following activities:
- End of year mini camp 4 Hours
- Summer Camp (10 days @ 8 hours apiece) 80 Hours
- Ten evening rehearsals @ 3 hours apiece 30 Hours
- Up to 6 Football Games with Rehearsals 24 Hours
- Homecoming parade 2.5 Hours
- Assorted Marching Band Festivals 8-16 Hours
- North Prairie Harvest Fest Parade with rehearsal 4 Hours
- Midnight Magic Parade with Rehearsal 4 Hours
A $45.00 summer band camp fee is assessed to all marching band students payable to Mukwonago Area School District.
